Spring Challenge Tournament - 4th October 2026

The course is breaking out of the winter & spring colours are returning. It is time to enjoy some Sunday Tournament Golf. Dipton's traditional winter tournament has been snowed over & we have gone to a new date as the first Sunday in October (4/10/26). We are opening this up to all registered golfers & having several offerings. Everyone enjoys a 4-ball better ball format, so that's a great start. To attract some of Southland's better golfers, we are also putting up some big silverware. For both Men & Ladies there will be a gross prize and the Championship Trophy. A runner-up prize will also be offered. Golf needs to encourage those starting out, so a Junior (under-19) component is part of the Tournament. Club stalwart & Life Member, Ken Todd, has provided a cup to be presented to the best Junior (Gross) a Net prize(s) will also be given out. We are setting an upper limit of 26 pairs (52 golfers) for the tournament, so don't delay in getting your registration in.
